Michael Bartnicki grew up with the law in his blood. His father, Stanley, was a longtime and well-respected personal injury attorney. Michael knew early on he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps.

After graduating from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988, Michael went on to the University of Detroit School of Law. During law school he spent a semester in the school’s London Law Programme studying at Regents College in London, England, and traveling throughout Europe. After working with his father for a year after graduated law school in 1991, he joined the firm that would become Miller & Bartnicki, P.C. in Plymouth, Michigan. Michael spent over 27 years at his firm practicing in a varieties of areas, including construction law, contract disputes, traffic tickets, drunk driving, insurance subrogation, fringe benefit collections, local ordinance drafting, appeals, business formations, family law, prosecution, collections, and general civil litigation.

Michael is licensed to practice in Michigan and the U.S. Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has written successful briefs for several published opinions by the Michigan Court of Appeals and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
